Product Information

Tuscan Pit Light has been carefully designed to minimise glare, by restricting the output based on the illuminous surface area, in order to comply with BS-EN 12464-1 (1000lm per 300cm²).

Tuscan Pit Light is designed to direct light efficiently on both the pit floor and the underside of the train.

With high levels of impact and ingress resistance, Tuscan Pit Light is designed to endure the harsh environments expected within this application. Tuscan Pit Light’s silicone gasket offers additional resilience to chemicals used in light maintenance pits.

Rail applications include illuminating sunken, light duty maintenance pits within rail facilities, specifically those with recessed channels.

This luminaire is designed for longevity and sustainability and adheres to our circular design principles. We conduct a circular economy assessment using TM66 and measure embodied carbon (kgCO₂e) in accordance with TM65.2.
