Basilica is a ligature resistant bulkhead designed for challenging environments including custodial, secure healthcare, transport and community and public.

Product Information

Basilica’s uniform illumination ensures a consistent light distribution, enhancing visibility and reducing glare to create a comfortable feel. The smooth surface enables easy cleaning, helping to maintain a bright welcoming environment.

Basilica is designed to meet the requirements of “Design in Mental Health Network’s (DiMHN) Testing Guidance for Products in Mental Health Facilities” rating LIG5-5/ES2 (ceiling mounted) and LIG5-5 (wall mounted). It minimises the risk of self-harm or injury by preventing the attachment of ligatures, and is designed to be disassembled and reinstated to ensure maintenance can be undertaken quickly and easily after anti-pick mastic application.

Custodial applications include police stations, law courts and showers. Secure Healthcare applications include bedrooms, circulation areas and exercise areas. Transport and community and public applications include public toilets.

Housing: Die cast aluminium body.

Paint: Polyester powder coat. All colours available, CLICK HERE.

Diffuser: Opal polycarbonate diffuser secured with tamperproof screws.

Driver: Electronic control gear on removable tray for ease of repair/upgrade with fused plug and socket connector block.

Mounting: Wall or ceiling.

Cable Entry: Provision for conduit entry in the back.

• -DA/-DI and -M1/M2 options cannot be combined.
